Council For Jewish Elderly (CJE)
It is Located at 3003 W. Touhy, CJE works in a great commitment to Jewish communal
values and the dignity of the elderly people. This organization can be shown
as a very good example of the solidarity between the Jews of Rogers Park.
CJE's range of services extends from assisting those who live in their own
homes, but need occasional physical or psychological support, to those who need
the most protection and care in a long term care facility. CJE's services are
provided both in Rogers Park in some north suburbs.
For over 25 years, the agency has been an active leader in stimulating and affecting many changes in the field of aging through service innovation and research.
